Your adventure with us begins in Homer, a scenic, quaint,
artistic community at the ‘end of the road’. This will be your last
opportunity to get any store items such as; groceries, beverages, film, bug
repellant, fishing license or any other personal items that you will not be
able to obtain in our back bay setting. We will furnish transportation via
water taxi from the Homer Small Boat Harbor to Peterson Bay Lodge. The short
five-mile trip will include a guided wildlife tour of the Gull Island
Seabird Rookery and a tour of a certified Oyster Farm.
Once you reach our dock in Peterson Bay your ‘ back bay living’ experience
has begun with a possible greeting from ‘Seako’ the curious harbor seal or
from ‘Sleepy’ the sea otter.
To get to Homer
Harbor drive out on to Homer Spit Road about 3 miles.
Make left turn onto Freight Dock Road following it around the backside of
the harbor. Our slip is EE 3 at the bottom of Ramp 6 where we will greet and
pick you up.
